Celebration, Florida: The Dreamiest Photo Location

If you know me, you know candid photos are my bread and butter and my all time favorite. But every now and then, I get the chance to bring a shared vision to life, and there’s something so electric about that too. Turning ideas from texts and phone calls into something tangible and beautiful? That’s its own kind of magic.
Cecelia and Amelia are two of my favorite twins. Confident, graceful, and easily cool, and it’s easy to see where they get it from. Their mom, Celeste, radiates elegance and love in equal measure. So when she reached out about doing a Sweet Sixteen editorial-style shoot for her twin girls, I was all in.
I couldn’t wait to dream big with them, stretch my creative muscles, and make sure the girls felt proud of every single frame we captured for their celebration.
We spent a few hours wandering around Celebration, Florida. It was one of those warm May afternoons that makes you sweat and smile. The girls were radiant from start to finish. We kicked things off downtown, circling the lake and ducking into a patch of shade for some sweet mother-daughter portraits (and even one with their little sister).
After a quick coffee break (because every good shoot needs one), it was time for an outfit change. The twins slipped into their formal gowns and we set off in search of the perfect final backdrop.
We found a lovely location and got some great shots, but there was still one moment left in my mind, the dreamy, secret garden vibe that the twins and Celeste had been envisioning.
Savannah Square in Celebration, Florida: The Fairytale Ending
I asked the girls for five more minutes. There was one last spot I couldn’t stop thinking about. They trusted me, even in the heat and the tiredness, and we made our way to Savannah Square.
The second we arrived, I knew. A quiet little park with a tree-lined walkway. It looked like something out of a storybook. The sunlight filtered through the branches just right, and the girls looked like they had stepped straight into a fairytale.
As promised I think we spent just about seven minutes there. Just enough to capture the softness, the drama, and the enchantment of the moment.
From laughter by the lake to golden light in hidden gardens, this shoot was filled with intention, creativity, and love. Cecelia and Amelia’s sweet sixteen was more than a milestone, it was a celebration of sisterhood, style, and stepping confidently into the next chapter. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
