Daytona Beach Family Session

There’s something so timeless about photographing families at the beach. The sound of the waves, the golden glow of the sun, and the feeling of bare feet in the sand. Recently, I had the joy of capturing this sweet family during a Daytona Beach family session, and it was everything I love about photographing families: natural, fun, and full of connection.

Instead of worrying about perfectly posed shots, I like to focus on moments. I give gentle prompts to spark laughter, cuddles, and movement, which keeps the photos authentic while still looking beautiful. Whether it was racing along the shoreline, snuggling in close while the wind tangled their hair, or skipping rocks into the water, this family embraced it all with so much joy.

The best part? These little in-between moments like hands being held, sandy toes, and giggles echoing through the breeze are the ones that will mean the most years from now. Both of the kids in this session had so much fun with sticks that they found while walking on the beach!
